Cleaning Electrical Connectors

I would like to remove all the tarnish and corrosion on the electrical connectors in my car. What's the best way to clean electrical connectors? I would like to do it chemically if possible. All the wiring harnesses are out of the car.
Thanks

Beware that some electrical contact cleaners will melt some plastics. I would disassemble the connector, a small blade is used to remove the metal terminal from the plastic connector, and then clean with cleaner and a small wire brush, coat with Kopper-Shield or dielectric grease and reassemble. A little time consuming but it will last much longer and lessen the chance of reoccuring.

Dipped my entire connectors in metal prep from ppg. Look like new when done. DFidnt hurt the plastic either.
