Rear Suspension

is my pinion angle correct?

The car is on the ground and jounced the suspension. The application is, 727, SS springs on an A body with no pinion snubber...
The magnetic compass reads 3' on the driveshaft and -3' on the yoke. Is that 6' down?

Heres a little something to get a better idea. What you want is 6 degrees nose down (compared to the driveshaft angle)

If you are like the middle picture with 3 down on each side you are are 6 down.
