What is the easiest way to do this? Rear first or front first? Should I unbolt the rear from the springs or leave it on? I am taking the car to the body shop soon and these are the only parts left on the car. Thanks for any tips!

I usually find it easiest to undo the rear first.

I just remove the 3/8's bolts from the rear and then front spring brackets and then roll the whole unit out from under the car and then dis-assemble the rest with it out of the car.

Duh - roll it out, what a concept. Thanks Carl! I'm used to taking the tires off before I do anything. Hope to have this thing in a body shop in a few weeks. Thanks again!

Yea we got a couple old 7-1/4 rear ends we use to throw up under one to move it around with.
Throw a couple bolts in the front hanger and move it where ever. Then back on jack stands and remove the rear end for clearance.

Real simple after you done it a few times.
