I used the oversized tie rod ends in my '72 Duster. I built it to go light to light fast, but also to handle well. I ordrered everything from PST suspensions and everything went together fine. Not sure if they are really needed, though.

Do the left hand thread tie rod ends go on the inside or the outside on a 68 Charger? Or does it even matter?
Thanks in advance.

It doesn't really matter as long as each side has one RH thread and one LH thread so when you turn the sleeve, they either go away from eachother or toward eachother depending which way you turn the sleeve.

Factory positioning: inners=right threads/ outers=left threads.
