I special-ordered this ’67 Satellite in November 1966 from Bynum Motor Co. in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, and took delivery in January 1967. The purchased price was $3,500. It has the following options: 383 four-barrel, automatic, power steering and brakes, bucket seats with console, road wheels, clock, and AM radio with reverb.
In 1968, I sold it to a friend with 10,000 miles on it, who sold it to another friend. In 1977, I bought it back for $300 with 96,000 miles and in need of a lot of repair. After many trips to the salvage yards, parts stores, restoration vendors, and much help from a friend, it is almost back to original.
