74 Duster + 49 Dodge

Here are a couple of pictures of our 1974 Plymouth Duster. It is equiped with a slight beefed up 318. The best time we got out of last season was a 15.49@92 mph, but with a little work with the heads and such, we're hoping for a little improvement. Kenny Davis kpdavis@earthlink.net

If the bottom car looks different it is because we have put a different hood and grill both painted flat black. So after the modifications to the car we got a totally different performance out of it as you can see. In the top picture we had the 318 with the 360 heads and the stock stall. In the bottom picture we have the same engine with the 273 small combustion heads with a 3000 stall. And at the strip we found it to run a 14.20 @ 93 mph instead of the first 15.60 @ 92 mph.

Hello, Eh? Check out my "slightly modified" 1949 Dodge! A 383 block and 440 crank, this 431 c.i. really hauls! With a "mildly modified" set of heads, dual 660's. 4500 stall and 513 gears, it bounces to 11.2's (so far) OH YEAH, Check out the plate and lights. I like to drive it !
